Weekly Photo Challenge: Silhouette

I am enjoying the weekly photo challenges WordPress posts and find it fascinating that people from all around the world participate. Although this is only my third photo challenge post I find the weekly challenge motivates me to go out and take photos. At first I was timid about posting because so many of the photos people post are amazing. I am pleased to say I am already less concerned about whether my photos are “good enough” and just happy to be out and about with my camera. I am becoming more mindful about what I see. These photos were taken along the shoreline on the Connecticut River and Niantic Bay in Connecticut.
Well done! I think that’s the best part about these photo challenges, it motivates photo enthusiasts like you and me to go out and get creative

Hi Joh, I am very new to blogging and picked one of the themes that WordPress recommends for displaying photography. Here’s a link that should be helpful when you create your own blog and begin to display your photos in galleries http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/gallery/. I hope this helps. I started out by coming up with the title of my blog and selecting a theme. I chose the “Manifest” theme because it’s free and it’s pretty easy to use. Good luck! Laurie
